2011 Bach Festival
November 5, 2011
at First Presbyterian Church, Bonita Springs, Florida
The Bach Ensemble held its annual Bach Festival on Saturday, November 5 at the First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs. The Bach Festival student festival was developed in 2008 by the Bach Ensemble as a means of introducing Baroque music to area young people.
The 2011 Bach Festival again expanded to 83 registered individual students and ensembles. We were very pleased to have two harp students enter and two classical guitar students. The two string quartette entries did very well and one was chosen as Outstanding Performers and they have been invited to perform at our Festival concert on January 22, 2012.
